Am I eligible to be an Attorney?
Information for Attorneys under an Enduring Power of Attorney

The Powers of Attorney Act 2014 (Vic) sets out the eligibility requirements for an attorney under an Enduring Power of Attorney. In order to be appointed, you must be:
- Over 18 years old
- Not insolvent or under administration
- Not been convicted or found guilty of an offence involving dishonesty unless disclosed on the EPA (if appointed for Financial matters)
- Not a care worker, health provider or accommodation provider for the Principal
