Why Young People?
Young people are incarcerated for many different reasons however according to the Bail Out website, being the victim of trauma, abuse and neglect is a massive determinate of detention. White Lion believe that communities should invest in crime prevention through early childhood services and community engagement to reduce the risk of young people entering detention.
